THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY This week

And now this week for the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

THE GOOD
I would like to say congrats to my Miami Heat for sewing up the second seed this week. Yes, it would have been more sweet to be number one, but seeds are the beginnings of champions and look for the Miami Heat to be NBA champs this year. And for all you haters, the big three will laugh back at you at the end of the playoffs.

THE BAD
Nothing like two grown men starting a feud. Apparently Donald Trump is taking exception with Bill Cosby’s comments about him being full of it in regards in his ambitions to run for president. Cosby says “run or shut up.” Trump who says he can’t until the Apprentice is over to run for President says Cosby was kissing his ass in the green room, and saying he wanted to go out to dinner. What’s going on here? Did Donald Trump steal a pudding pop from Cosby? I always do admire Cosby’s willingness to be honest, but this lacks the compelling nature of the Rosie v Donald days from years ago.

THE UGLY
ABC announced it was canceling All My Children and One Life to Live in favor or reality TV programming. Grant it there are much uglier things that this, but I think the comment that an unnamed soap star made sums it all up:

“If you’re not an over-tanned guido who gets drunk and punches someone in the face where do you fit into television any more,”
It really sucks that shows that exploit the stupid nature of humanity are starting to take center stage. Shows like “Jersey Shore” “Teen Mom” and just about every show on the Food Network are entertaining the general public. I think it’s time the general public wake up and look down to see what you’re sitting in when you miss the toilet.

And that will do it. Have a nice weekend.
